During this summer of 2015 I took Economics and personal Finance class. It was such fascinating and entertaining class ever. Throughout the course, I gained an utmost amount of knowledge that could have an impact on my life directly and indirectly. There are some vital lessons that i learned in this class such as how to make my own website, how does supply and demand affect a price of goods and services, how to plan my monthly budget, how to be a wise consumer instead of conspicuous consumer, how does globalization connect countries, pros and cons of globalization, credit and debit cards and identity theft. Those are the important things that I learned from this class, but the most interesting lesson that I learned was about my country economy and credit score. When we did a country profile and development project I was being able to learn more about my country's economy. I also learned about credit scores, you can just have a credit card and be able to build your credit score without using it which is really amazing because your credit score has the power to affect your present and especially your future life. For example, Purchasing a house is one of the greatest investments you can make in your own future. But it will be tough for you to achieve this investment if you have bad credit score. Maintaining a good credit score now will make it easier to get a home loan in the future. I learned a lot of things that I never knew before which was pretty interesting.
It's hard to determine if someone is perfect or not because everyone is different and unique in their own special way. But in my opinion we can easily determine if someone is perfect or not. For example, we can decide if a student is perfect by just looking at their grade and how they do their work. It's evident that a student who do their work on time shows that their responsibility towards works. In my point of view a perfect student should have fun and focus on the class at the same time. Perfect student should be able to know the limit of having fun in school, because the outcomes will be able to affect their future. There are some students we come to school just to have fun and fool around. But they have to be punish for their action, if i were a teacher or a principal of a school i would have put those students together in the camp so they will have a chance to learn a lesson about life. Before doing this i would plan to make school fun by doing fun and interesting.
ISIS stands for Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, it's s a Salafi jihadi extremist militant group and self-proclaimed caliphate {a form of Islamic government led by a caliph} and Islamic state which is led by Sunni Arabs from Iraq and Syria. On 29 June 2014, the group proclaimed itself to be a worldwide caliphate, with Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi being named its caliph. They has control over territory occupied by ten million people in Iraq and Syria, as well as limited territorial control in Libya and Nigeria on March 2015. The group also operates or has affiliates in other parts of the world including southeast Asia. Since they are striking a thousand of people around the world and murdering many infidels and apostate it is a global problem. Anyone will be able to understand how they are really affecting the world even a little kids by brainwashing and threatening them since, the kids respect and afraid of their family they started to go to a camp and learn how to shoot innocent people instead of learning how to write and read by going to school. This will also affect their own country economy since they are sending teens to the camp who have the ability to make a contribution to their economic growth.
All stores provide their products at different prices, some of them are expensive and some of them are cheap. Most consumers prefer to purchase a goods and services with the price that they can afford{lower price}. As a students of Economics and personal Finance we went to a field trip to compare the prices of a product in two different stores. We decided to go to Safeway and Fresh market because they were close to our school so we could walk to there.
SafeWay Nuetella is made in Canada, US. It cost $6.99 each at Safeway. However, in Freshmarket the same type of product cost $8.59 each jar. Even though their brand and ingrident is the same there is big diffrence on thier prices. After comparing these price consumers will be able to make the right decision, purchasing this product with affordable price is always the right decision. The other product i choose was Tostios chips. Each bag cost $2.50 at Safeway. It also cost $2.50 at Freshmsrket. This was the only product i see with the same price. This will not be difficult for consumers to decide from where they should purchase because it's available at both stores with the same price and quality. Lastly, I chose Orange juice, Tropicana is made in US and it cost $4.99 at Safeway. I found the same product in fresh market but the price was $6.99. In my opinion purchasing product only because it is cheap is not wise, the one thing I realized from the field trip was the products that Safeway sells were not fresh and organic. On the other hand, FreshMarket provides fresh and organic product even though the price is high. After we did our research we went McDonald to buy food and after that we walk to the park to eat lunch and then boys started play soccer, some of us played volleyball even though we were not that good we had a lot of fun. In the end, some students acted out a play. The play was about a man who got stolen his credit card by two ordinary peoples, it also shows how they stole it from him. It was directed by Jesusina { who wore a blue dress on the photo}. We were able to learn a lesson from the play about how we should keep our cards {debit, creidt} and money safe.
I learned a lot from both pretensions about banking, credit scores, credit history and different type of fees. Before the presentation, I didn't know once your credit score goes down by various reasons such as not paying fees monthly on a time it would stay until seven years on your credit history. I was really surprised when I heard that I expected it only stays two or three years. Once your credit history messed up it will be hard to buy or rent a house and car.
Frank George is a Minuteman who patrols the US border of Mexico. When he was seven he came to US legally. After that he started to live with his wife Jane in Mojave California. The Gonzalez family emigrated from Mexico. Pati and her husband Rigoberto have five kids, the two youngest Ricardo and Karina were born in US so they are American citizens. The three oldest children Alba, Ariel and Armida crossed the border 12 years ago and have been living in Los Angeles undocumented. The most outspoken of them all was the oldest daughter Armida. The family of seven lives in a cramped one bedroom apartment. Frank being placed in the Gonzalez family for 30 days to experince living life as an undocumented immigrant . He must leave all of his identification behind. He is immediately put to work with Rigoberto, who works for low wages as a handyman. This consisted of many strenuous jobs and chores. Rigoberto says that he is ''doing the jobs that American don't want to do.'' Patty is a kind of mother that will do anything to make her family happy, even if that means taking so much time to collect and recycle cans just for a measly five dollars. Most striking of all is Armida, the golf-playing, well educated high school student with high hopes on a path to college. Frank lives the life of an illegal immigrant and suffers from the day-to-day struggle. The family has to deal with his strong opinions against illegal immigration. Frank also spends time with the rest of the family and really begins to become a part of their lives. He is genuinely touched by the family and feels a bond of kinship between them. During his time there he states, “…we really start to appreciate life.” Frank and Armida have many civilized debates over the immigration topic towards the end of the episode. The man who has had such strong, deep feelings towards immigration for almost his entire life, begins to open up his heart and mind after he goes to Mexico to see how pitiful life is in the poverty-stricken country. He starts to wonder how anyone can possibly return to such conditions. Seeing the Gonzalez family scraping for few bucks everyday changed Frank's opinion about the lives of illegal immigrants. Frank is close to tears when having to say goodbye to the family. He is much more sensitive than one might expect at the end. Gold is a chemical element with symbol Au and atomic number 79. In its purest form, it is a bright, slightly reddish yellow, dense, soft, malleable and ductile metal.People used gold as a financial backing for currency but today many governments, individuals, and institutions hold investments of gold in the convenient form of bullion. They also use it in computers, electronics and dentistry. People value gold because it has high scarcity. According to Thomson Reuters GFMS, which produces an annual gold survey. Their latest figure for all the gold in the world is 171,300 tonnes - which is almost exactly the same as the amount in our super villain's imaginary cube. There are two groups for gold found in nature. Primary gold is often what is found in rock formations, Secondary gold is found in small waterways that have run through these rock and mineral formations.Gold mining is the process of mining of gold or gold ores from the ground. The value of gold is $ 50.80 per gram. Gold is valuable not only because it is scarce, there are several facts that make gold valuable such as; Gold has unique physical-chemical characteristics that made it very valuable it is the most malleable and ductile of all the metals one ounce of gold can be drawn into more than 80 Km of thin gold wire and also the symbol of gold is Au, from the greek word aurum, which means glow of sunshine. The english word gold comes from the words gulb and ghel referring also to the color. Gold is highly scarce: According to all geological experience it is found only in low concentrations in rocks. Its average concentration in the Earth's crust is 0.005 parts per million. According to Warren Buffett, one of the world's richest investors, says the total amount of gold in the world - the gold above ground, that is - could fit into a cube with sides of just 20m (67ft).
